So many great nuggets in here! I kept thinking about Ray Dalio’s comments that to build real success, you have to go against the crowd and you have to be right. So I spend a lot of time thinking about how to improve on those two vectors! Loved every bit of this!
Great read. I personally spend a lot of time pondering decisions and definitely consider myself a maximizer, mostly because of past regrets. I'm currently facing a vector decision, and reading this has really helped put things into perspective and guide my thought process.
How do you fail fast in gaming, esp. with a new game? I say this as someone who sunk 3+ years in a new FPS-roguelike and I have no idea how to tell when if/when it can be the next big thing.
